about the poet:

Geordie Miller is an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Mount Allison University. His chapbook, Love Poems for Landlords, is forthcoming from Gaspereau Press. In 2023, he co-founded High Marsh Press with Keagan Hawthorne. One of the main goals of this micropress is to provide students of Mount Allison with direct work experience in the literary publishing sector through the administration of the annual Deborah Wills Chapbook Contest. “White Whale” is included in a manuscript he recently completed with his sister, Kate Miller, which is grounded in their standpoint as poets who are hard of hearing.
