Alice Burdick is the author of six books of poetry. Her most recent title, Ox Lost, Snow Deep from Anvil Press, was shortlisted for the 2025 Maxine Tynes Nova Scotia Poetry Award and longlisted for the 2025 Raymond Souster Award. Her poems and essays have appeared in multiple anthologies, chapbooks, folios, broadsides, cookbooks, and films. She leads workshops for children and adults and is a mentor, freelance editor, proofreader, and manuscript assessor. She lives in Lunenburg/ E’se’katik.
