about the poet:

Author, editor, and community organizer Rebecca Salazar (she/they) has published the chapbooks the knife you need to justify the wound (Rahila’s Ghost Press, 2018) and Guzzle (Anstruther Press, 2016). Her debut full-length collection, sulphurtongue (McClelland & Stewart, 2021), was a finalist for several prizes, including the Governor General’s Literary Award, and has since been translated into French. Of Colombian ancestry, Salazar grew up in Northern Ontario and now lives on the unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik.
