about the poet:
Chris Bailey is a writer, graphic designer, and commercial fisherman from Prince Edward Island. He holds an MFA from the University of Guelph and is a past recipient of the Milton Acorn award for poetry. His work has appeared in Brick, The Fiddlehead, Grain, Best Canadian Stories, and elsewhere. His debut poetry collection, What Your Hands Have Done, is available from Nightwood Editions. His second collection, Forecast: Pretty Bleak, is forthcoming from McClelland & Stewart in spring 2025.
