about the poet:
M. Travis Lane has published eighteen books of poetry and essays, won numerous awards, and was among the finalists for the Governor General’s Award in 2015. She and her husband, Lauriat Lane Jr., came to New Brunswick in 1960 and became Canadian citizens in 1973. BA, Vassar, and MA, PhD, Cornell, she is an Honorary Research Associate with the English department at the University of New Brunswick.
